About Anne
Anne was the typical horse crazy girl. Posters on walls getting a pony ride when ever possible but living in the Sydney suburbs to own a horse was not going to happen until much later in life.
To learn when you are older and having children gives a whole new slant on the hobby. After falling off a few times and realising that the family still have their needs, maybe some lessons would be a good idea. Finding an instructor was not all that easy, being an older learner and interested in quarter horses and the western ways. After finally finding an experienced show horse, I could start showing. Having some wins and some losses I found I enjoyed all horses no matter what the breed or discipline. The more I could learn about dressage, campdrafting, Arabs and quarter horses, the more I appreciated the whole horse.

Working with the young horses is so refreshing, helping Steve with some re education is rewarding. Some results aren’t always positive, which is disappointing but life is a continual learning curve and horses are like humans, they have good and bad days too.

With horses there is much more than showing. Steve likes to show and like to support him and pleasure ride. We breed our babies trying to pick lines that compliment our mares, which will work or pleasure. The mind and soundness of our babies is what we are aiming for.
